Don’t worry, this article isn’t going to be all about me bullying you into eating your broccoli or reiterating to have a balanced diet (though both important things). Actually, this article is about the power behind meals, and how you can use cooking and seasoning with herbs and minerals to manifest. With Thanksgiving having just past, and Christmas around the corner, it’s perfect for the season! And considering it’s also flu season and chilly season, this article can help you find new ways to warm up this winter, and help you control/raise the frequency of those colds. Tis the season of seasonings!

But you don’t have to only practice this over the holidays. You can use these techniques year round! It’s just another means of manifestation. Hell, you can even try this for the new moon we’re having or today for 12/12! New moons and angel numbers are perfect for manifesting new beginnings. I’ve been using these techniques with almost every meal and have definitely seen a change in my overall vibration and energy levels.

Everything we eat is made up from elements on the periodic table. So if what you eat turns into energy, and energy comes from elements, and elements are the ingredients of magic, then that means that what you eat is alchemy. It gives you POWER! There’s magic in your meals!!

Don’t believe me? Here are 3 ways to dive into the type of healing (and even dopamine highs!) working with herbal seasonings can give you. And disclaimer: I’m no licensed nutritionist or anything. I’m just a bruja who loves to read books, practice what I’ve learned on myself like the Guinea pig I am, record it in my grimoire, then share what I’ve found with others. As I always say, I did the research so you didn’t have to! (But still, read what I’ve found for yourself)

1. Did you know…?💡🤔

People, plants, and even planets all produce their own frequencies? It’s true! Frequencies are defined as the number of waves that pass a fixed place in a given amount of time. The higher the frequency of someone’s vibration, the healthier and happier they may feel. Plants, Herbs, Nuts, Fruits, and Veggies all produce their own frequency between 15-120 Hz. The frequency number depends on if they’re dried, freshly plucked, or still in the dirt yet to be plucked. Frequencies are lower if the foods are dried or cooked, and they’re higher when they’re raw/fresh or still in the ground. Regardless of how you consume them, these foods can even be mixed together to create a healthy frequency for you. Have you ever ate something so good you do a little happy dance? It’s probably because the seasonings, fruits, nuts, or veggies that were mixed together put you on a higher vibration. Tasting and smelling food and seasonings releases dopamine and seratonin to your brain. It can even be compared to a kind of high. So, make sure to keep reading to so you can learn how use different foods and their frequencies to you can boost your frequency and stimulate your neurotransmitters.

This food pyramid shows the frequencies of meats, dairy, fruits, and veggies by group:

As we can see from the chart above, meat and sea food don’t emit any frequency. Once an organism is dead for consumption, such as chicken or pork, it can no longer emit the sound signals that produce frequency. And despite dairy having its own benefits, such as being packed with calcium, dairy does not produce a frequency because it’s not a living organism. Milk and butter are not living organisms. It comes from a life force (like a cow or goat), but it is not one itself. Canned and processed foods also do not emit any frequency.

Vegetables that are generally cooked such as cauliflower, potatoes, and cabbage tend to have a frequency of 0.5 HZ. Once a vegetable is cooked, it loses its life force. It’s almost like with meat and sea food, except after being cooked, some fruits and veggies may still have a little frequency left. This is why you may hear to have both raw and cooked fruits and veggies in a given day. Fresh veggies may be harder for your body to break down despite their benefits of producing a higher frequency, so cooked veggies help it digest.

Raw fruits and veggies have higher life forces as indicated by the chart above. They emit frequencies between 0.5 and 15 Hz. Consuming them raw/fresh helps keeps their life force alive post being plucked from vines, bushes, plants, or trees.

Super foods such as raw chocolate, sea weed, and lemons produce frequencies between 15 and 52 Hz! They’re rich in minerals and high in vibration. Chlorophyll, plankton, and wheat grass are the highest vibrations between 52 and 120 Hz!

In regards to herbal seasonings and essential oils, dry herbs emit 12 to 22 Hz, fresh herbs emit 20 to 27 Hz, and essential oils emit 52 to 320 Hz!

That said, what you eat can have an effect on your levels of energy. A healthy human body will operate on a higher frequency compared to someone who is ill. These frequencies below breakdown a healthy vs sick human body:

• Normal Human Body = 62 to 78 Hz

• Colds & Flu = 57 to 60 Hz

• Candida, Epstein Bar, and Disease = 58 Hz

• Receptive to Cancer = 42 Hz

• Onset of Death = 25 Hz

Unfortunately, there’s not enough research done on the frequency of each fruit and vegetable itself. We only have a rough average based on varying studies. However, I’d love to get a plant wave device to help me calculate the math and science myself! I’ll comeback and update y’all with the link to that article when I do 🙂

Also keep in mind, if you’re someone who has a garden and grows your food yourself, the frequency in which plants emit are NOT the same frequencies you would use to give plants as music to stimulate their growth. Please adjust them accordingly. Studies have shown plants react favorably to frequencies between 100-300 Hz.

Speaking of which, as an extra little treat, these are some audio frequencies you would want to use on yourself for healing. Look up “binaural beats” + the frequency you want to use on YouTube. Check out these frequencies:

174 HZ for Pain relief and inflammation

396 Hz to open up your heart chakra

417 Hz to remove negative energy

528 Hz to balance your relationships and improve communications

639 Hz reconnects you with love & compassion

645 Hz for cell rejuvenation and growth hormones

963 or 777 HZ for wealth and manifestation abilities

Apparently food isn’t the only thing good for the soul, frequencies are as well! It’s not just a way to the stomach (or heart!), but it’s a stimulant of the mind!

2. Cooking with Color Magic! 🎨🧑🏽‍🍳

Add a little color magic to your meals! Each color, both on and off the rainbow, have their own meanings! This chart below shows you the meaning of each one:

Choose seasonings with colors that match what you’re trying to manifest! If you’re trying to manifest more money, you may want to consider basil, dill weed, cilantro, or tyme because they’re green. If you want to manifest more creativity or extroversion, you may want to season with tumeric, cumin, or orange pepper. If you need a little yellow in your life, consider lemon pepper or curry powder. If you’ve been seeing red lately, consider seasoning with paprika, cayene, chili powder, saffron, or red pepper. You get it? Match the color to your elemental compound! And when you season your meals, say your intentions aloud! Speak the direct thing you’re trying to attract toward you (or push away from you). Stir left to banish, and stir right to bring forth.

3. Remember: Your whisk is your wand! 🪄✨

Your forks, spoons, and cooking tools are your wands! Your utensils are how you cast your spells, so make sure you cleanse them before you use them! And no, I’m not talking just by washing them in the sink. Consider giving them a little sage or smoke cleanse before you smoke your veggies with them! You can also recharge them by sitting them next to your crystals, washing them with moon water, or hold them in your hands and visualize the negative energy releasing from the handle. Use this technique to remove any bad vibes you may have unintentionally trapped into them the last time you used them, and then set new intentions.

And last but not least, when you’re cooking to conjure, always make sure you have pretty plating!! Just how I plate my food alone can raise my vibrations for the better ☀️

Anyway, these are 3 ways I manifest with my meals! Based on the context of this article, I also highly recommend the books Kitchen Witch by Julia Diaz, Green Witchcraft by Paige Vanderbeck, and Using Plants for Healing by Nelson Coon.

If you’d like to read an article on my review of these books, and which ones I’d think would be best for you based on what and how you’re trying to manifest, this is it: https://www.bougiebrujas.com/2023/12/12/bougie-bruja-book-review-the-kitchen-witch-green-witchcraft-using-plants-for-healing-witchery/

Otherwise, ciao for now! See you on Saturday for my article on the oldest magic in the book, mal de ojo.

And how to defeat it.
